I get so confused.....

the last 2 postings were on the wrong site. I bet that any one who knows computers thinks that it's easy, but obviously I am not smarter than any fifth grader! I am posting a picture of the beautiful braids that Crystal did for the boys last weekend. We went to McQueeny Elementary for their fall festival. We handed out a bunch of business cards and already have scheduled one birthday party as a result.

Yesterday we had a visit from Kelly D. who brought Dash, the horse that Kenna and Reid have now. He did great. And Crystal's sister Amber was new also. We had a total of 13. It was a cool day to go out.

2 weeks ago we had Adalyn's birthday party.

This weekend is Thanksgiving but we still plan to ride on Saturday at 10. Have a blessed day.

and pray for RAIN!!!

what a month!!!

I am so sorry that I have not been keeping every one updated. Please forgive me.

We had 13 folks here yesterday for the ministry. The week before we went to McQueeny Elementary for their fall festival fundraiser. And the week before that was Adalyn Harvey' s fifth birthday party. Before that, I can't remember. I am posting a picture of the braids on our boys that my friend Crystal did. They were so spiffy looking. And we passed out lots of business cards.
The baby chicks are growing. Our cat Meanie has disappeared. Every one else is enjoying the cooler weather.

Please pray for rain!!!

way over due!!!

I am so sorry that I haven't kept up with this blog. Please forgive me y'all. I am going to do 2 today if every thing works right. The first update is on Mamacita and her 5 babies. She hatched 2 in the pet taxi that will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. The next day, Monday, Leroy said that he heard a little chick cheeping, it probably fell out of the nest. So I went to investigate. Well, Mama and 2 babies were in the sinner's box and number 3 was still up high in the nest. So, I took the pet taxi and put it in the sinner's box. Of course, I checked the last 3 eggs and sure enough, I could hear the babies in 2 of them. On Wednesday, baby number 4 hatched. I was worried about number 5, when she got through the shell she was pretty week on Thursday. But if you see them now, I can't tell which should be the runt! We have 5 more babies coming this afternoon from a teacher who hatched them out as a school project. They are just a few days old, so I will have to put them under a heat lamp.

Life on the farm is still exciting.

I am getting our t-shirts today. I am excited about the yard sale.
we also have a new kitten Leroy named her Meanie. cause she's a bed hog he says. she takes up the whole couch.

me and JoeJoe

well, Joe has lived here over 2 years and I finally rode him for the first time today. he did well, as he always does, (right Grace???) I tend to want to ride just one horse and not jump from one to another. I have been like that for a long time. Probably since I fell off Peter. anyway, Connie said that I needed to get back on again and she is right. We had a good ride.

The baby chicks are well . I am going to add a picture. Kiley checks on them almost every day.

we have the kids size shirts now. they cost $8 each. No parties scheduled yet until Memorial Day. I will keep you posted. We ride Saturday at 10

Saturday April 26, 2008

we had sooooo much fun today. Kenna and Ried had a double birthday party and we had lots of kids. Everyone had a great time. JoeJoe seemed pretty tired today though. I will keep an eye on him. He doesn't like hot weather. He is getting his feet trimmed on Monday afternoon. Maybe that will cheer him up!!!

I ordered some pens for the ministry. They are pretty cool looking. and great advertising ( they say)

the t-shirts are ready to pick up on Monday. I ordered some kids sizes to have on hand.

we were blessed with 2 free bales of hay this week. a special thanks to the Hughes family in Schertz.

Miss Kelly let me borrow some sacks for sack races. That will be fun to watch.

Thanks for loving us

Miss Ginny

let's see just how smart I am! Look there is Miss Lana on Huck!!! I can't be;ieve that i figured it out. WOW!!!

what a week!!!

we have had the most awesome weather to be outside with the animals!!! Isn't God good!!??
Scott and Connie have 2 new horses. Buddy belongs to Connie. he is 7 and very even tempered. he is a lot like Mr. in that he loves his food. meal times are the only time that he gets pushy. Scott, Kaidin, and Madison share King. his name was Henry, but some one changed it. Last Saturday they lead them with us while we walked to Schuman's Beach Rd. The 2 new horses did very well. And Miss Lana actually road Huckleberry.
thanks to all who came and helped.
we now have a checking account at Randolph Brooks credit union. we are official!
I will get pictures here or on the website soon.

2 parties in 2 days!!!!

we had 2 terrific birthday parties this weekend. Nicolette turned 10 and we enjoyed pizza, then on Sunday Deja celebrated her big day and we ate hot dogs. On Saturday the chickens ate any leftover watermelon and on Sunday Huckleberry ate the watermelon rinds!!! Not much goes to waste around here!!!

The little scraps of paper left from the pinata will soon be lining birds nests. last year we found some Huck hair a nest after it was abandoned.

God is so awesome. We had beautiful weather, a great time of celebration, and we created some incredible memories. That's what this is all about.

a week later

It was so good to have some of the kids come out today. They planted flowers on the 2 graves and just hung out. They were sisters in their love for Jesus and their love of horses. They brought me 2 drawings and as soon as we can, we will get them on this site. One has Mr with a mouthful of grass. Those who knew him knew how much he loved to eat.

Jeremy buried Mr. right next to Cowboy and Woodrow. When the tree grows it will shade both graves and will look terrific there.

Thank you so much for your prayers and your love.

a very sad day

on Saturday we had a tragic accident and my beautiful black horse Mister ran in to a boat trailer on the street and broke his back leg. It has been hard to fathom just how it happened, a lack of attention on my part, his stubborn desire to get across the street, he refusal to whoa when I said to. But through it all, I know that God is good, and that He is in control. Some wonderful members of my family paid for the vet, Mrs. Corbin paid for the burial, and our insurance covers the damage that was done to the vehicles. My heart aches, especially for my kids who chose him as their favorite horse. I have felt for a while that God was changing the ministry, but I never expected this to happen. As I go through this trial I know that I am well loved my many friends and "my" kids. We will get through this together, we will praise our God, and we will ride that horse again in Heaven someday. Thank you all for loving me and for praying for me. Lift up my extended horse family, bless those who have so greatly befriended us all.

a day of blessings

Good Friday such an incredible day in the history of our world. Jesus changed every thing that the world had ever believed about God. And amazingly, He still moves today. and He continues to change people. We went out this morning, about 18 of us. God gave us a wonderful morning to enjoy and pleasant conditions to walk in. He granted us safety and a joyous time.

His word says that He knows the plans that He has for. Pray that we stay in His plans.

blessing upon blessing today

if you ever need to order tee shirts, go to Logos to Go here in New Braunfels. they really blessed me today.

and Mr Pfeil in Seguin repaired my saddle and did a few extra things at no extra charge. He said that people doing God's work need to be blessed.

God has certainly sent some faithful folks my way. I pray that I have been a blessing to them as well

God is so good

special thanks to my friend Melanie for helping me with this. I am still in the stone age with tech devices. I thank God for friends who know just how to do so many things.

We took the horses out twice yesterday. You can see pictures at our web site, http://www.graybarnministries.com/. that is thanks to another sister in Christ, Lana.

We will have the horses at Dayspring's Easter outreach next Sunday. Pray for great weather, safety, and the opportunity to let the unchurched hear the true Gospel.

right now we plan to ride at 10 on Friday and on Saturday. Because it is Good Friday I will have the day off.

Jesus loves YOU!!! Miss Ginny
